Walking programme coming 2024

What you can expect during the festival:

  1. Trail variety: a variety of walking trails with different difficulty levels, ranging from easy strolls suitable for families to more challenging hikes for experienced walkers. Therefore, all ages and fitness levels can participate and enjoy the festival.
  2. Guided tours: guided walking tours led by local experts will be on hand to share interesting facts about the area’s flora, fauna, and history. A full programme will be available soon.
  3. Enjoy Mid Devon’s culinary delights at our farmers markets, food festivals and eateries.
  4. Entertainment: there will be lots of events taking place over the two weeks from live music, food and drink festivals and opportunities to experience a vineyard tour. Visit the olde-worlde Tivoli cinema, hop on one of the UK’s last horse-drawn barges, take part in foot golf, laser clay or complete a muddy obstacle course. Visit a local museum, discover our country houses and manors or simply take time out in a game café.
  5. Accommodation: we have such variety from star gazing huts, to tree houses to glamping and hotels with everything in between – book your escape to Mid Devon today.
  6. Walking a long distance such as the Two Moors Way, simply arrange for your luggage to meet you at your destination each afternoon.

Remember, a walking festival is not just about walking; it’s about fostering a sense of community, appreciating nature’s wonders, and creating lasting memories.
