Walronds Willow Wander Trail
Come and celebrate the opening of the new sculpture trail at The Walronds in Cullompton. The launch is sure to be a fun-filled day for all the family.
A Samba band, stilt walkers and Elfic the Jester’s Comedy Circus Show are heading to Cullompton for the launch of Cullompton Walronds Willow Sculpture Trail. The big event takes place on Saturday May 22nd from 10am – 2pm. The headline attraction is the Willow Sculpture Trail, a trail of beautiful willow animals created by local willow ar
tist Vik Westaway to record all the wildlife she has seen in the local area whilst walking the footpaths in and around Cullompton.
The event is funded by the Mid Devon “Love Your Town Centre” Fund with the aim of encouraging people back into the town centre to enjoy, not only the Walronds’ garden and the town’s award winning Farmers’ Market, which will also be trading that day, but to also visit and find out more about what the town centre has to offer in terms of its many diverse and individual shops and businesses.
Cafe Walronds will also be open in their courtyard garden for refreshments. Pick up a trail sheet from the cafe and see if you can find all the animals around the garden. Don’t miss plenty of entertainment with music from The Crooked Tempo Samba Band, juggling from Elfic the Jester, the Higher Beings Stilt Walkers and a free Willow Bird Feeder Workshop!
Entry is free and organisers hope visitors from far and wide will join them for a fun filled morning. For more information please email info@walronds.com
