Knightshayes
Knightshayes is a National Trust property near Tiverton. It offers one of the finest gardens in the South West with hidden glades and far-reaching views. The ‘gothic revival’ Knightshayes Court house is a rare example of the genius of William Burges, whose opulent designs are guaranteed to inspire extremes of opinion. The Victorian walled kitchen garden is one of the best in the country.
Visitors can enjoy pleasant walks around the extensive gardens, pastureland and woodlands as well as a visit to the house. Knightshayes hold events regularly throughout the year including nature trails and craft fairs.
