Huntsham
Welcome to Huntsham
Huntsham is a small parish in the heart of the Devon countryside. The parish is home to the All Saints Church, a church which is thought to have been consecrated as early as 1336 and then restored by Arthur Troyte, who employed Benjamin Ferrey to completely rebuild the church around 1856.
Near to the church is the former manor house, the beautiful Huntsham Court. The house in its current Tudor Gothic style condition came about when Charles Troyte (Arthur’s son) married Katherine Mary Walrond of Cullompton in 1864 – the previous style of the court was criticised by the Walrond Family and was deemed unsuitable for their daughter.
Huntsham Court was quite literally built for a bride, which is fitting as the stunning venue is now used for weddings!
