Crediton Museum

Crediton Museum explores the history of the Crediton area. The museum is run by the Crediton Area History and Museum Society, an all volunteer organisation.

The society arranges a number of events throughout the year, including monthly talks on a wide range of historical topics (September to May) and a Summer Exhibition at the museum (April to October).

The society also holds an extensive archive of local history material, and can provide support to those researching local or family history (ask for details).

The museum also has a number of Town Trails exploring the history of the town, which can be downloaded from their website.
