The Dartmoor Line opens tomorrow!
A great opportunity to explore Dartmoor and welcome visitors to Crediton.
From tomorrow, Saturday 20 November, the Dartmoor line will connect Exeter, Crediton and Okehampton for the first time in nearly 50 years, making it easier for residents and visitors to explore more of our beautiful area.
Dartmoor is only a stone’s throw from Crediton and can be seen from a number of viewpoints around the town, creating some of the best landscape scenes in the district. The Dartmoor Line will make it easier for Crediton visitors to enjoy a day out in Okehampton and Dartmoor. With a journey time of under 30 minutes, and trains running every two hours each way, you can easily plan for a full day’s adventure.
