- Bampton Heritage & Visitor Centre: Make this your first port of call to discover the history of Bampton and to pick up info about what to see and do in the area. Explore information boards, take on the family friendly quizzes and trails and have a go at dressing up. You’ll also find a range of gifts and souvenirs. Located in the church.
- St. Michael and All Angels Church: This 12th-century church is a piece of living history, with beautiful stained glass and an impressive bell tower. The churchyard itself is worth a wander, providing quiet moments.
- Bampton Castle Motte: Though the castle itself is no longer standing, the site offers sweeping views of the town and the surrounding countryside. It’s an ideal stop for history buffs and provides a great photo opportunity too.
- Playgrounds: You’ll find two play areas to choose from in Bampton. The Playground at Station Road and the wooden Playpark at the Motte, both great areas to play!
- Bampton Pump Track: Brand new in 2024, the Bampton Pump Track is a great new facility for BMX and cycling enthusiasts of all ages!
