Pick Your Own Pumpkins is already open! 🎃 The patch is thriving this year and is ready for visitors from 9am–4pm, Monday to Saturday (closed Sundays). No booking needed — just bring your wellies (white trainers not recommended!) and enjoy a wander through the fields. After picking, head to the Swans Neck Café for pumpkin-inspired speciality drinks and tasty seasonal treats. -
Jolly Pumpkin, Silverton
This popular pumpkin patch has become a go-to autumn day out, with thousands of pumpkins to choose from in all shapes and sizes. You’ll find plenty of family-friendly activities, photo opportunities and a welcoming, festive atmosphere. More details on this year’s patch can be found at jollypumpkin.co.uk. -
Orway Porch Farm, Kentisbeare
Free entry, no booking and a whole lot of fun! The Orway patch is open on 11–12, 18–19 and 25–31 October. Expect an exclusive dog-friendly area, disabled access, hard-standing car park, farm animals to meet, refreshments and plenty of photo opportunities. It’s a relaxed, affordable day out with something for everyone. -
Quince Honey Farm, Aller Cross
The pumpkin patch returns 27–30 October, 10am–4pm, with free entry and pay-per-pumpkin. Set apart from the main attraction, it’s perfect for picking and snapping some autumn photos. While you’re there, you can also dive into the Apple & Honey Harvest celebrations — watch apple pressing, see honey extraction, and sample heather honey fresh from the hive. Families can also make the most of the indoor and outdoor Play Hive.
