Leafy Fields Glamping Celebrate 10 Years
Leafy Fields Glamping Marks 10 Years of Inclusive Family Stays in Mid Devon
As English Tourism Week 2026 shines a spotlight on the best places to visit across the country, Mid Devon stands out as a peaceful, family‑friendly destination where visitors can unwind, explore and reconnect with nature. With rolling countryside, welcoming towns and unique places to stay, it’s the perfect spot for a relaxing break in the heart of Devon.
One local business leading the way is Leafy Fields Glamping, which is celebrating 10 years of autism‑friendly family holidays near Ashill, Cullompton.
Founded in 2016 by Dannie and Andrew, the site was created to offer a calm, understanding environment for neurodivergent families seeking a stress‑free getaway.
Co-owner Andrew said
‘Just one year after opening, Leafy Fields became the first glamping site in the UK to receive the National Autistic Society’s Autism Friendly Award’
Today, the glamping site is recognised for its thoughtful Sunflower Pack, which includes social stories, countdown calendars, animal guides and neurodivergent‑friendly day‑out suggestions. Guests who book the pack can also access the on‑site sensory playroom.
Set in tranquil countryside close to the Blackdown Hills, Leafy Fields offers spacious safari lodges, bell tents and a shepherd’s hut — all designed to give families space to relax and enjoy the outdoors.
Co‑owner Dannie said:
“We built Leafy Fields to be the place we wished had existed for our own family.”
