In the heart of Devon there are quite a few vineyards, micro breweries and orchards in Mid Devon. Farmland and patch work fields make Mid Devon burst with fruit, making it the perfect location to test any connoisseur taste buds. The majority of our visitors come to us for our food and drink – not just for our breath taking views and amazing walks! Booming with local produce, Mid Devon’s rich farmland and desirable climate make Mid Devon soil the best around for producing high quality wines, beers, cider and juice. These tantalising drinks and refreshments go splendid with the delicious range of food on offer in the region.

There are various vineyards dotted throughout the region in beautiful settings overlooking our valleys. Producing gorgeous wines including award winning sparkling wine on site, set in the rolling hills of Mid Devon from grapes grown solely in the vineyards. A tour or tasting session is a must for any visitor to our region, surrounded within our rolling hills and mesmerizing countryside making the experience all the more special.

Drink like a local….Breweries are growing in popularity with lots of micro breweries and craft ale popping up all over. Breweries are producing beers, ales and cider that are on offer in our locals pubs, eateries and bars.  Similar to our vineyards, why not book a guided tour and tasting sessions at one of our orchard sites? In the early autumn (Harvest time!) a number of cider makers encourage people to get hands on with the techniques and have a go at picking the fruit themselves. Our vivid red soil makes a prefect juicy apple ready for the picking – so why not give it a go!
