Family Fun at Mid Devon Show!
The Mid Devon Show holds its 29th annual show this year. Saturday 23rd July 2022 will see people flock to Tiverton for the agricultural show displaying some of the best local produce, livestock, music and entertainment. The show brings lots of excitement, making it a fantastic day out!
What to expect….
This year’s show will be packed full of entertainment with something for everyone, making it one of Devon’s best days out and Mid Devon’s largest event of the year. The main ring headline act this year, will be a Freestyle Motorbike Stunt Show performing breathtaking jumps and stunts. In addition to the normal favourites, the Dartmoor Hill Pony Display Team, Young Farmers, Vintage Tractor Parade and The Diamond Twirlers will all perform in the ring.
Colin Nation, Show Organiser states “Elsewhere around the showground we have our wonderful Countryside Area, Music Fest, Livestock Competitions, Fun Fair, Bouncy Castles, Dog Ring, Flower & Garden Marquee, Classic Vehicles, Vintage Tractors and Ride on Model Railway.”

“If shopping is your thing, then we have you covered. Our famous Food Hall has over 50 producers from across the South West with both local offerings and tastes from across the world. The Magpie Market Marquee has 60 artisan traders with an eclectic mix of products to tempt you. Our brand-new Craft Marquee is home to all our local crafters with products manufactured from raw materials. Then of course we have up to 300 Outside Trade Stands which range from small local traders to big National Companies. Offering you the chance to buy anything from a Dog Lead to a £250.000 Tractor.”
Getting to the showground…
The Show is set in the beautiful parklands of Knightshayes (National Trust), overlooking Tiverton. Parking is free is you are coming by car, there will be a free bus service from Cullompton For those coming from further afield, there will be park & ride sites around the Tiverton area.

The Mid Devon show is a registered Charity that aims to promote Mid Devon and agriculture through education and exposure. Annually the show supports local young people by way of scholarships to support them in furthering their education, assist them to achieve a life enhancing experience or achieve an award or qualification. Colin Nation, Show organiser explained that “In addition, the show has a nominated charity each year. This year we are delighted to have Devon Air Ambulance as they enter their 30th Anniversary year. All our show activities go towards supporting these worthy causes. Come and enjoy one of Devon’s Best Days out, organised by people in your community for the benefit of your community.”
