Explore Tiverton’s Riverside Quarter

Fuel up for the day with a hearty full English breakfast at the Coffee Bean Cafe. Pack your towel and some bread and head to Rotary Walk in the middle of the town, a popular spot with the locals for paddling and duck feeding on the River Exe.

Once you’ve dried off head to West Exe North to pick up some delicious homemade pastries and cakes at Sarah’s Kitchen before heading to West Exe Recreation Ground to relax in this late Victorian park complete with bandstand and play area.

Why not try something new and book a session at the Wall in the Hall, Tiverton’s very own indoor top rope climbing centre (Wednesday 2nd – Friday 4th last week of Kids Club – booking essential).

Leave the kids to it and browse the independent gift shops along Bridge Street and Angel Hill including Avo Glass Design, specialising in beautiful handmade glass jewellery, and stop for a reviving coffee and slice of cake at Two Birds Coffee.

Are you self-catering? Pop into the Jolly Vintner for some expert advice and specially selected wine for your evening tipple and pick up a takeaway or book yourself in to enjoy authentic Indian cuisine at Nawab restaurant.
