Uffculme Local History Group – Our Food Heritage!
An exhibition in our historic Village Hall, in which Uffculme Local History Group will be presenting photographs, information and food-related books and artefacts celebrating aspects of Uffculme’s past.
Uffculme Local History Group is mounting an exhibition of photographs from our archive, with old and new views of our interesting, working village. These will be presented together with a selection of old cookery books pertaining to this year’s “Food” theme. We’ll also have utensils used in food production from past years. Food plays an important part in all our lives and here food production is also a big part of our rural heritage, so expect at least a few references to farming practices of the past! This will all take place in our historic Village Hall, on Saturday September 11th 2021, as an all day event.
