Two Moors Festival

The Festival is unique and has become an important part of the cultural diary in the South West. For the past twenty one years, in October, village halls, churches, indoor markets, museums, auction rooms, Nissen huts, country houses and even railway stations across Devon and Somerset, have sprung to life with inspirational recitals, concerts, operas, newly commissioned works, talks, exhibitions, school workshops, masterclasses and more.

The Two Moors Festival 2023 celebrates the influences of Folk, Jazz and World music on the Classical genre, and the different places and ways of life they evoke. It intends to examine what ‘Home’ means in different contexts and how through music, we can become grounded to generations past and future. Venues range in location throughout Exeter, Exmoor and Devon – with each venue boasting grandeur and beauty.

The festival takes place from the 5th to the 25th of October and promises to be a powerful programme that asks a lot of questions.
