The Picture of Dorian Gray

An innocent and young Dorian Gray is the subject of a portrait by his close friend Basil Hallward, an artist impressed and infatuated by his youthful beauty, who believes Dorian is the reason for the new mood of his art as a painter. When Dorian’s wish to remain young seems to have been granted by the Devil, all the while his portrait ages and records every moral transgression he commits.

This is Brown Paper Bag’s first production since 2019’s Under Milk Wood. As with that highly acclaimed show, Dorian Gray is directed by Frank Kelsall.
