The Navy Lark – live!

Event by Comedy Hall Mid Devon and Tiverton Community Arts Theatre

Coming live to the theatre for the first time in over 60 years is The Navy Lark. The Navy Lark sees a cast of three bring to life three classic episodes from the much loved radio series which ran from 1959 to 1977 and which originally featured Leslie Phillips, Ronnie Barker, Dennis Price and Jon Pertwee.

Starring James Hurn, known for portraying such iconic characters as Tony Hancock, Sid James and Kenneth Williams from his hit one man show Hancock and Co. Also Starring Richard Usher and Mark Earby best known for The Goons Tour and The Lost Hancocks – Vacant Lot.

Presented in the style of a radio performance in front of a live audience, bringing to life the classic days of radio comedy.
When HMS Troutbridge docks in Tiverton it’s going to be “Ev’rybody Down!” for an evening of nostalgic belly laughs. So “Bung Ho!” and secure your tickets now.

COVID UPDATE (AS OF AUTUMN 2021):

TCAT have installed a brand new Air Ventilation system in the auditorium.

We are asking all patrons and volunteers to do a Lateral Flow Test at home on the day of attending one of our events. Hand sanitiser is readily available and we will be stewarding our events carefully to avoid crowding in the bar area. Face coverings are discretionary but encouraged when moving around the venue. We want our volunteers, performers and audiences to be as safe as possible and are so looking forward to welcoming you back!
