Marx Brothers Double Bill
Crediton Arts Centre presents Marx Brothers Double Bill (U)
A double bill of two of The Marx Brothers’ funniest early films, ‘Horse Feathers’ (1932) and ‘Duck Soup’ (1933), made during their golden period with Paramount. Harpo, Chico, Zeppo and Groucho, ably supported by the likes of Louis Calhern, Thelma Todd and the incomparable Margaret Dumont, take on gangsters, college sports, prohibition, spying, politics and a very bizarre war in two movies which provided some of their finest comic moments.
