Knightshayes – Heritage Open Days
Enjoy free entry to National Trust Knightshayes and discover connections you wouldn’t expect – from interesting plant connections in the gardens, to hearing stories from volunteers who grew up on the estate.
Visit National Trust Knightshayes for Heritage Open Days on 7 and 8 September. Enjoy free entry to the whole site, and find out about the various connections that are special to this Victorian estate. From discovering the histories and journeys of the extensive plant collection in the gardens, to hearing from some of the volunteers who have spent many years at Knightshayes.
Accessibility details
The Formal & Woodland garden is partly accessible, with hard surfaced step-free path around much of it. Please be aware of slopes, gravel paths and steps down to the terraces. Stables has historic cobble surfaces. There are several sets of steps in the gardens. There is a step free route marked on the property map. There is ramped access to the second-hand bookshop at the stables and into the house. The walled garden is on a slope to capture sun light and the woodland garden is also sloped.

Please note opening times are 10am – 5pm; however the house opening times are 11am – 4pm
