Kids Halloween Baking – Devon Cookery School

Devon Cookery School will be holding an October half term Kids Halloween Baking class on Thursday 31st October 2024 and is sure to be a hit with budding young bakers. The school will be running two sessions, one being held 9.30am – 11.30am and a later session being held at 12.30pm – 2.30pm.

What’s on the menu?

• Rice Krispie Zombies: Boo! Get your hands sticky and gooey as we bring the undead to life! Kids will mix and mold their favorite marshmallow Rice Krispies, and then use candy eyes, icing scars, and edible decorations to turn them into cute, creepy zombies. Whether they create friendly monsters or something more frightful, their creations are sure to be a hit at any Halloween gathering!
• Spooky Gingerbread: Who said gingerbread belongs only to Christmas? In this Halloween twist, kids will roll, cut, and bake their own gingerbread cookies in fun, eerie shapes like ghosts, bats, pumpkins, and monsters. Using colorful icing, sprinkles, and fun toppings, they’ll get to unleash their inner artist and craft the spookiest (or sweetest) cookies ever!

Parents can rest assured that this class is designed to be interactive, hands-on, and educational, all while maintaining a playful and festive atmosphere. No prior cooking experience is needed, and all ingredients and materials will be provided.
