Tree Planting at Upcott Field

Time: 10:00 AM
Bring the whole family and join in our tree-planting event—open to all ages! Celebrate community and sustainability while making a lasting contribution to our local green spaces.

Local Food Market & Street Performances

Time: 2pm – 6pm
Location: The Bullring
Savour delicious local produce while enjoying a vibrant program of festive street entertainment:

• Stilt walkers and circus performers

• Elf and Nutmeg the baby reindeer puppet

• Folk bands, choirs, and local dance groups

• Juggling acts, fire shows, and a “have-a-go” circus zone

Father Christmas Grotto & Christmas Light Switch-On

Location: The Walronds
Visit Father Christmas in his magical grotto and watch as he officially switches on the town’s Christmas lights at 6pm—marking the start of the festive season!

Community Raffle

Spend £10 with participating local shops and businesses before 28 November for a chance to win a festive “Christmas Dinner on Us” hamper. The lucky winner will be announced during the Christmas light switch-on—don’t miss out!
