Crediton – The Bishop of Exeter’s Deer Park – Mid Devon Walking Festival
A three mile walk on the edge of Crediton, exploring a mediaeval deer park while walking our way through a 16th century map. Mainly on footpaths, but starting and finishing in the town. Hilly. Can be muddy in places after rain. Lots of history (commentary by Walk Leader), lots of lovely views. Walk Leader : Tony Gale.

Meeting Point: Crediton Museum, The Old Town Hall, High Street, Crediton, EX17 3LF
Parking: Public car park and bus stop in the town centre. Start and finish are about one mile from the railway station.
Food and Drink: Lots of options before and after the walk in the town centre and town square.
Useful Information: This walk is categorised as ‘moderate’ however in respect of “some steep climbs”, this walk could qualify as challenging, requiring a good level of fitness. Dogs are welcome on this walk. Finish at the museum exhibition.
