Children’s Pottery Workshop

Come and join Helen McCormick for a fun morning learning how to create a Christmas gonk or snowman sculpture out of clay using hand building techniques.

My workshop is designed to be a relaxed friendly space where children aged 7-13 can make new friends and have the opportunity to create, learn and have fun. Throughout the workshop I will teach your child how to make a 3D Christmas gonk or snowman sculpture using traditional hand building techniques. No experience necessary.

All materials and equipment will be provided. The only things you will need to bring is an apron, creativity and excitement. Juice and a snack will be provided. If your child has any dietary requirements please provide your own alternative.

Your child’s work will be made from air drying clay so that they can take it away on the day in time for Christmas. I will have painting kits will be available to purchase at a small cost at the end of the workshop if you do not have any appropriate paints at home.
