An Evening with Laura Shepherd-Robinson
The Bookery presents ….An Evening with Laura Shepherd-Robinson
Take a trip back in time with us at a fascinating evening of history, mystery and adventure with award-winning historical writer Laura Shepherd-Robinson, author of Blood & Sugar, a crime thriller set in the backstreets and docklands of 19th century London.
The acclaimed historical writer and researcher, hailed as the Queen of Modern Georgian Literature, will be talking exclusively to The Bookery audience on Thursday 6th July at 7pm. She will be revealing her latest book The Square of Sevens, a gripping tale of fortune-telling, secrets and superstition set amongst the well-heeled salons of Georgian Bath and London and the lewd ribaldry of Bartholemew Fair.
Her new book will also be on sale at the event.
There will be a chance to ask questions – and discover how award-winning fiction makes its way onto the page, and what made Laura Shepherd-Robinson leave a twenty-year career in politics for a new life writing fiction.
An evening with Laura Shepherd-Robinson is on Thursday 6th July at 7pm at The Bookery. Admission £6 (redeemable against a copy of the book.)
