Discover the Joy of Walking at Our Inclusive Walking Festival!
Are you ready to explore the great outdoors and experience the benefits of walking? Join us at Mid Devon’s First Walking Festival 14 – 29 September 2024, where we celebrate the joy of walking for everyone, regardless of age or ability. Our festival is designed with accessibility in mind, ensuring that everyone can take part in the fun and reap the health benefits of this simple yet powerful activity.
Accessible Walks for All
We believe that nature should be enjoyed by everyone. That’s why we’ve carefully curated a selection of guided walks that are perfect for wheelchair users and those with pushchairs. These routes are flat, well-maintained, and offer a guided walk without the challenge of rough terrain. Bring your family, friends, and pets along for an enjoyable day out!
Check out our guide and handy tips for using the icons to find a walk suitable for you.
Guided Walks for Health and Wellbeing
Walking is one of the best ways to improve your health and wellbeing. Our festival features several guided walks specifically designed to enhance your physical and mental health. These walks are led by experienced guides trained by West Bank, who will share tips on how to get the most out of your walking routine. These are social walks and often finish with a visit to the local café to help welcome new walkers.
