In light of the latest government guidance to practise social distancing and avoid unnecessary travel and social situations several tourism businesses and attractions in Mid Devon have taken the difficult decisions to either close or change their way of operating to protect volunteers, staff and customers. To avoid disappointment, before visiting one of our attractions or other businesses please do check their individual websites or social media or contact them directly to find out whether they are open as usual or operating differently.
This is a difficult time for us all but one thing we can still all do is go for a walk or bike ride. Luckily for us we’ve got lots of fabulous countryside all around us here in Mid Devon! If you’re cooped up working from home or limiting your contact with others you’ll probably be feeling the need to get out and about! Exercise and fresh air is so important for mental health and general well-being, particularly in these strange times, so this is the perfect opportunity to explore your surroundings. Head to our Walking and Cycling page to check out possible routes and look out for our spotlights on local walks coming over the next few weeks.
