Bear Town is sweeping up awards!

A multi-award winning attraction here in Mid Devon

After launching the South West’s first permanent indoor role play in the midst of a pandemic, Bear Town has gone on to sweep the awards this year:

Visit Devon Tourism Awards 21/22:

• Small Visitor Attraction of the Year- Gold

• New Tourism Business Award – Gold

• Leisure and Tourism – Winner

South West Tourism Awards 21/22:

• New Business Tourism Award – Finalist – winner TBA 7th April

Owner Ben Jordan said, “We have been overwhelmed by the support from our visitors since opening in October 2020. It has been a challenging time launching a new indoor business during Covid, but the team has worked tirelessly to deliver an exceptional visitor experience throughout. Bear Town is a unique role play centre where young children (1-7 year olds) can try a host of “grown up” jobs, from vets and mechanics to firefighters and hairdressers. At Bear Town, there are no rules on imagination. Children are encouraged to let their imagination run wild and be who they want to be, encouraging children to ‘Learn Through Play’.

During the session visitors will enjoy exclusive use of the Café which will be offering a great selection of cakes, snacks, delicious locally sourced meals and hot and cold drinks including our amazing freshly ground coffee.

Bear Town is open daily and uses a booking system to secure a two hour session!
