A new type of playtime is coming to the South West

Welcome to Bear Town!

Something very exciting is opening on the outskirts of Exeter. A unique role play experience for children set in an immersive town setting, unlike anything else on offer in the South West. Bear Town encourages children to ‘Learn Through Play’.

With 12 different role play areas, each more exciting that the last, Bear Town will inspire your child to broaden their personal, social and emotional development, expand their communication and language skills all while gaining confidence and most importantly having fun. Bear Town has been carefully created to offer a fun educational experience that supports the Early Year Foundation Stage.

Bear Town is a role play centre where young children can try a host of “grown up” jobs, from vets and mechanics to firefighters and hairdressers. At Bear Town there are no rules on imagination, children will be encouraged to let their imagination run wild and be who they want to be.

Alongside the exciting play environment is a quiet area for children that want to take a break and a safe baby play area. Bear Town Play Assistants will be on hand throughout each session to ensure that every child has a wonderful experience.

Owner, Ben Jordan, said, “Whilst coronavirus has delayed our plans, it has meant we have been able to design Bear Town ensuring we are COVID-secure, whilst taking nothing away from the amazing experience. Following on from the great success of The Bear Trail, we are launching an indoor all year round attraction, we wanted to build something that was fun, unique and educational.”

Inside Bear Town will be a relaxing café where parents can enjoy a selection of hot and cold drinks including freshly ground coffee, homemade cakes, snacks and delicious locally sourced meals during their visit.

Bear Town will be opening Saturday 24 October, at the start of the half term holidays.
