We’re celebrating English Tourism Week 2021 by sharing a reason to love Mid Devon every day this week.

Reason 4 – What’s on

Following the easing of restrictions, Mid Devon’s calendar of events is building back up! This Summer you can expect a number of food, craft and music festivals to take place across the region.

The Mid Devon Show is the main event in Mid Devon’s social calendar. We’re thrilled to have it back this year, taking place on Saturday 24 July. Celebrating Mid Devon life, the one day agricultural show is packed with live entertainment, food and drink, and farm life. It’s not to be missed!

If you’re visiting with the whole family look out for school holiday family activities at our attractions. Our major events venues often hold craft fairs to browse local makers’ wares and pick up unique gifts and souvenirs. Don’t miss our regular Farmers’ Markets, celebrating fabulous local produce.

Can’t wait to get back in the theatre? Mid Devon’s very own Tiverton Community Arts Theatre is back this summer and taking bookings for all kinds of shows from live music and comedy to contemporary theatre and Shakespeare. Look out for more live music and theatre events being added across the region as more restrictions lift.
